26 DecVoyager: Unworthy 47/52

Voyager: UnworthyThe next book in my Star Trek reading list is Star Trek: Voyager: Unworthy by Kirsten Beyer. I have to give the disclaimer that because I’ve read several Trek books between this book and my writing of this, that many detail sare getting murky for me.

Now back in the Delta Quadrant, Voyager truly begins her new mission: to explore the quadrant properly, and to confirm if the Borg are truly gone.

This book definitely didn’t disappoint as a follow up to Full Circle. It’s the characters we know and love, with the addition of Eden and Cambridge. As far as personalities go, Cambridge is quickly becoming one of my favourites of the “non-TV show” characters. The lack of Janeway doesn’t take away from the story (though I admit I miss her) as Eden manages to step into the roll.

All in all I’m really enjoying the Voyager relaunch by Beyer, and can’t wait for the next one! Four stars.
